At Arise Health Training Institute (AHTI), we are committed to provide you a Comprehensive Nursing assistant program that will ensure you are fully prepared and competent to provide quality health care , that will be consistent and within the scope of practice of a certified nursing assistant.
AHTI now offers the Nurse Aide I Hybrid Program.
Arise Health Training Institute (AHTI) is committed to providing a comprehensive Nurse Aide I training experience that prepares students to deliver safe, quality care within the scope of practice of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Program Format (Hybrid):
The Nurse Aide I Hybrid Program consists of 2 weeks of online theory instruction, followed by 6 weekends of in-person training. The in-person portion includes skills lab and required weekend clinical experiences.
Whether you are starting a new career in healthcare or completing a prerequisite for nursing school, our goal is to support your success and help you build confidence in providing patient care.
AHTI also offers a Nurse Aide I Refresher Hybrid Program for students who need a refresher prior to testing or returning to the workforce.
Students enrolled in AHTI programs receive course materials and support services designed to help them successfully complete training and prepare for employment and/or continued education.

Every Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 4:30pm
To enroll at Arise Health Training Institute (AHTI), applicants must provide one (1) of the following:
High school graduation (U.S.) from a public, private, or home school
AHTI must receive official high school transcripts that clearly list a graduation date.
Transcripts stating “anticipated,” “expected,” or similar language are not accepted.
High school diplomas are not accepted in place of transcripts.
High school equivalency (GED or equivalent)
AHTI must receive a copy of the GED or high school equivalency certificate.
College or university graduation
AHTI must receive official college or university transcripts that clearly list a graduation date.
Transcripts stating “anticipated,” “expected,” or similar language are not accepted.
International students
Proof of completion of secondary education equivalent to a U.S. high school.
AHTI must receive the educational diploma or transcript translated into English.
If you are unable to obtain transcripts (U.S. students only)
AHTI must receive a signed and notarized attestation issued directly by the educational institution confirming one of the following, as applicable:
High school graduation
Receipt of a high school equivalency certificate
College or university graduation
Completion of secondary education equivalent to U.S. high school
The student must also provide written documentation from the institution explaining the inability to issue transcripts.
AHTI will retain copies of all documentation in the student record.
Ability-to-Benefit (ATB) Exam (for eligible applicants age 18+)
Applicants who do not meet the educational requirements above may be required to take an Education Department–approved Ability-to-Benefit (ATB) test.
The ATB test fee is $150.00.
ATB testing is offered every 3 months.

Background Check: Students must pass a background check prior to the start of the course. A criminal record does not automatically disqualify an applicant; however, it may affect clinical placement and future employment opportunities. AHTI reviews criminal history on a case-by-case basis.
Identification: Students must submit a copy of a valid photo ID and a valid Social Security card (no work-only permits).
TB Screening: Students must provide a negative 2-step TB skin test within the last 6 months, a negative chest X-ray, or a negative TB blood test (T-Spot).
COVID-19: Students must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and boosters or an approved waiver/exemption. Students must be fully vaccinated and up to date prior to clinicals, unless a waiver is approved. Waivers may be provided by the school after acceptance.
Nurse Aide I – Hybrid Program
If you wish to enroll in the Nurse Aide I Hybrid Program, AHTI must receive a completed application and the $80 non-refundable application fee by the published registration deadline.
Please note that submission of an application does not guarantee enrollment. Applicants may not begin the program until they have been officially admitted. It is important that all application requirements and deadlines are followed.
Enrollment is offered on an ongoing basis; however, class sizes are limited. Hybrid Nurse Aide I classes may reach capacity before the registration deadline. When a class becomes full, registration for that session will close and the program will no longer be available online, even if the deadline has not yet passed.
Applicants are encouraged to apply early to improve the likelihood of securing a seat in their desired session. AHTI reserves the right to close enrollment once maximum capacity is reached.
